Lovers Key State Park
Until 1965 Lovers Key State Park was only accessible by boat. It is one of four barrier islands that make up the state park, and it is home to manatees, bottlenose dolphins, roseate spoonbills, rabbits and bald eagles. The two-mile-long beach is accessible by boardwalk or tram, and offers boating, biking, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding and soaking up the sun and surf.
